About laser therapy
We use therapy with high-energy therapeutic laser, which allows precise adaptation of protocols based on the patient’s injury status. The laser allows us to apply different power ranges and is therefore suitable for a wide range of postoperative conditions, tendinopathies or tendinitis conditions. The Summus laser provides 1300 phased treatment protocols developed by medical and pathophysiology experts.
Our patients notice an improvement in their pain after just one or two treatments with the Summus high-energy therapeutic laser, while full treatment in combination with therapeutic training often requires five to ten treatments. In the case of chronic pain, we combine Summus laser therapy with kinesiology therapy over a period of three months.
Use of therapeutic laser is a well-established method of treating chronic and traumatic conditions in the acute phase in modern physiotherapy. The new generation of the Summus laser that we use also allows us to effectively treat muscle function injuries, such as muscle strains or tears.
With the therapeutic laser, we achieve a biostimulating effect, meaning that we improve the body’s self-healing processes locally at the site of injury. Laser therapy is not invasive; usually, when the probe with the laser beam is applied, the patient feels a warm sensation in the painful area that is being irradiated. Higher laser intensity allows us to accelerate the healing of microinjuries at the cellular level.
