About HiToP therapy
We use HiToP therapy (high tone power therapy), which directly affects cellular transfer of substances. HitoP therapy uses a stimulating principle (SimulFAM x) and a non-stimulating principle (SimulFAM i). The range of frequencies used is between 4096 and 32768 Hz. The results of high tone power HiToP therapy are improved metabolic processes, body cleansing, and pain relief.
During HiToP therapy, the number and volume of mitochondria increases, which increases energy intake into the body and improves cellular metabolism. As many as 80% of our patients experience a reduction in pain after the first therapy!
How does HiToP electrotherapy work?
High tone power electrotherapy is a therapeutic procedure that involves the use of high-frequency electrical pulses to treat various conditions. The main goal is to promote healing of damaged tissues and relieve pain.
The mechanism of action of high tone power electrotherapy is complex. The main effects include:
- Increased blood circulation: High-frequency currents can increase microcirculation in tissues, which accelerates the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to damaged areas.
- Improving metabolism: Electrical pulses can stimulate metabolism in cells, which contributes to an accelerated healing process.
- Pain reduction: Electrotherapy can affect the transmission of pain signals in the nervous system, reducing the sensation of pain.
- Massaging effect: High-frequency currents can cause micromassage at the cellular level, which can help dissolve adhesions and improve tissue mobility.
- Promoting tissue regeneration: Electrotherapy can stimulate the production of collagen and other substances that are crucial for regeneration of damaged tissues.
When performing high tone power electrotherapy, it is important to take into account the individual needs of the patient and the specifics of their condition.
For which conditions is HiToP electrotherapy used?
- Back or lower back pain: herniated disc, spinal stenosis, spondylosis
- Shoulder pain: frozen shoulder syndrome, SLAP lesion, rotator cuff injuries
- Knee pain: ligament injuries, meniscus injuries
- Tendinopathies: golfer’s elbow, tennis elbow, jumper’s knee, runner’s knee
- After surgeries: ACL surgery, meniscus surgery and many others
- Nerve compressions: carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome
- Treatment of oedema (swelling)
- Burnout treatment
- Sprained joint: ankle, knee
- Joint wear and inflammation – arthritis
- Shoulder and hip impingement syndrome
- Chronic pain
HiToP therapy is also used today to treat symptoms after COVID-19, as it has been proven to accelerate the regeneration of affected lung function.
The therapy can also be used in the acute phase of bone fracture treatment, when electrodes can be placed under a cast or splint – electrotherapy helps with fracture healing and the formation of new bone.
